Volunteering Entry #6

      I have volunteered at a pig rescue for a little over two years now. I love animals so much so i thought that since I love pigs and so does my mom, we should go volunteer with them. This place is called the Better Piggies Rescue they have well over 160 pigs. It is so chaotic and fun. This place is truly an experience. 

    It was a place that we could get away from our life but also be doing something that benefited us and others. We truly only started doing it because my mom loves pigs, and it was something we could do together. 

    This year I started volunteering at a new rescue that only has horses. It is called After the Homestretch. They take in old racehorses who can no longer race and had to retire. It is very fun to do as well. I love to work with animals so I really enjoy doing these types of things. Horses are really just giant dogs. They have such personalities. Pigs to it is crazy to see how different they all act. 

    All of them have their own ways to doing things and their own ways of playing or being mean. 

    This was one of my ways to get rid of my stress. when i am around animals all the worries and stress go away and I can just be present in what is going on.

    I love volunteering at the pig and horse recuses and will continue to do it for a while.

    Wow how cool is it to be around pigs and horses? I think I would just about explode from cuteness overload! I am sure you develop your own relationships throughout volunteering with these animals and I’m sure they feel like your own! Do you think you could see yourself expanding to all sorts of different animals?

    WOW, thats so amazing. I grew up with horses all my life and doing something like that seems like a dream! Is this something that potential lead to a career!

    Wow - both of these organizations look like wonderful volunteer opportunities! This is a good topic for a self-generated entry. Push yourself to develop the "point" further -- volunteering, time with you mom, etc. This will help to balance the casual/professional tone of the entry and take it beyond just a personal entry.

 Everyone has their way of find out what is going on with the world or finding out information or facts about a subject. Some watch the news and some read about it through blog. I am a person who does not keep up with what is happening in the world.       Today i am going to talk about something that can be used outside of the house to keep your breath refreshed and smelling like you just brushed your teeth. This can be used when you have just eaten something and are worried about if you need to talk to someone. Or if you just feel your breath could be refreshed.      This package as you can see has some holographic designs behind the lettering taking up just about the whole top of the package. The color of this package is associated with the flavor since this one is wintergreen it is a blueish green.
